All Chains and Slings was established in 1974 and traded under the name of P & W Lifting Gear, the company was located at Chiefly Drive, Preston.

In 1976, the company moved to larger premises at Korong Road, West Heidelberg, and in 1980 built its own warehouse also in Korong Road. August 1990 saw the change to our current name of All Chains and Slings, which better reflected our overall business activities.

In May 1992, a second location was established at Bell Street, Preston and then in 1995, the company moved to its present location at 1764 Hume Highway, Campbellfield. Throughout this period the company has been involved in the importing, manufacture, and supply of a diverse range of lifting gear and ancillary products to many industries including; Shipping, Power Generation Construction, Automotive, Transport, General Engineering, Oil & Gas, Theatrical.

To further supplement our range of services and to reflect industry requirements, a mechanical testing facility was added in 1997.

To further compliment our product range and truly deliver the total soloution,we offer in house and onsite N.A.T.A (National Australia Testing Association) Mechanical Testing(Lab #13553) and Visual Inspection(Lab#14444) complying with ISO 17205 Standards and Repair Services.
