• Description

  Our rated trailer safety chain serves as a critical link between the trailer's drawbar and the towing point of the vehicle. Its purpose is to secure the trailer in the event of disengagement from the tow ball, minimizing the risk of the trailer breaking free and allowing the driver more time to safely stop. By reducing the likelihood of accidents or damage to the trailer, this safety chain enhances overall towing safety and peace of mind for drivers.

  • Compliant to AS 4177.4
  • Available in a galvanised or black finish
  • Price is per metre 
  • For an aggregate trailer mass max. of 1.6t a minimum of 8mm trailer chain
  • For an aggregate trailer mass max. of 2.5t a minimum of 10mm trailer chain
  • For an aggregate trailer mass max. of 3.5t a minimum of 13mm trailer chain
  • For trailers over 3.5t refer to grade 80 or grade 100 chain

  Note: This chain is NOT suitable for lifting applications
