Project Overview
Keppel Seghers, an overseas leader in environmental engineering solutions, approached All Lifting with a request for custom-designed man cages. These cages needed to meet strict size requirements and withstand extreme offshore environmental conditions, including prolonged exposure to saltwater.

To achieve this, the design brief required a special anti-corrosive coating with multiple protective layers, offering up to 10 years of corrosion resistance.

The All Lifting fabrication team, based in Campbellfield, Victoria, took on the challenge from initial design to final delivery.

• Capacity Compliance: Certified for up to 4 persons, with a Safe Working Load of 750kg.

Manufacturing Process

• Design & Engineering: CAD modelling and load testing simulations ensured structural integrity.
• Fabrication: Fully welded steel framework constructed in-house at All Lifting’s Campbellfield facility.
• Surface Protection: Applied industrial-grade, multi-layer marine coating for long-term corrosion resistance.
• Testing & Certification: Each cage was load tested and certified to meet safety and operational standards before shipping.

Outcome
The project was delivered on time and within scope, exceeding the client’s expectations in both quality and durability. The cages are now ready for deployment in Hong Kong’s challenging coastal environment, offering a service life of over a decade without significant maintenance.
